Booking a wedding photographer is a really, really important decision that you shouldn't take lightly.

First and foremost, I believe that you should book a wedding photographer who captures the types of images you love. In addition, I believe that the wedding photographer you choose should be someone whose company you enjoy. After all, you're going to spend a lot of time with that person on your big day! They're basically going to be your shadow!

The Wedding Photography Experience

Step 1: Let's Chat About Your Day

Once you send your inquiry, you'll be prompted to set up our phone consultation to discuss what is important for you. Based off of our call I'll send over a proposal.

Step 2: Secure Your Date

To secure your date, all I need is a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer of 50% to hold your date.

Step 3: Engagement Session

We work together to create a customized session. This is a great opportunity to get photographs of the two of you for "save the dates" and to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day.

Step 4: Pre-Wedding Questionnaire

2 months before your wedding date you will receive a questionnaire getting me all the information I'll need before the big day.

Step 5: Your Big Day

The wedding day is finally here, and you can relax because I already know everything that is important to you!

Step 6: A Sneak Peek

You will receive a sneak peek within 48 hours of your wedding so that you can announce your marriage with beautiful images.

Step 7: Your Gallery

Your gallery will be finalized within 6-8 weeks of your wedding day and sent via private online gallery.

Step 8: Heirloom Album

If you are preserving your memories in an album, I will have you "heart" your favorites in your online gallery. when your heirloom album is designed and approved, you will receive it at your door in about 6 weeks.

ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS


Before I get into the details regarding my wedding photography services, I first want to fill you in on my engagement sessions! Two of my wedding packages actually include an engagement session, so it's important that I tell you all about them. The other package has a discounted session as an option.

In addition to giving you the opportunity for a steamy, lovey-dovey hour or two with your soon-to-be-spouse, engagement sessions actually serve a utilitarian purpose. Many people use their engagement sessions for their "Save the Dates," wedding planning website, invitations, or even as an announcement to the world that they're tying the knot. A lot of couples even use photographs from their engagement session for wedding thank you cards.

Not to mention, engagement session photos give you a chance to show off that gorgeous ring a little bit more (it can be very hard to capture it with a snap and shoot camera). I'd wager a guess that you have loads of people asking you for pictures of your bling!


WEDDING DAY COVERAGE


The coverage you get from Jamie Brown Studios on your wedding day depends on the package you choose. Every package, though, includes coverage of your actual wedding day with me, Jamie, as your photographer, and one of my second shooters. More shooters means more images, so that's always good.

No matter what package or add-ons you select, the photos from your wedding day will be beautiful. I take both journalistic/lifestyle images and also posed shots. From the moment you secure your date with me, we'll work together to make sure every single image you want is captured on your big day.

Frequently asked questions

How do I book with you?

To book send me an email or give me a call to request a certain date. I require a 50% retainer and signed contract. This locks you in for that date and ensures nobody else can book on the same day!

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes, I do! I would be thrilled to hear the details, check the calendar and put together a quote for you or refer you to another photographer with the ability to travel during your dates.

How many hours are included in each package? How much do extra hours cost?

I have 3 packages that range from 6 to 10 hours of wedding coverage. Additional hours are $350 per hour.

Do you provide partial day coverage?

At this time, I do not offer partial day coverage. Each of my wedding packages provide a different level of coverage, though, so you do have options.

How long does it take to get our photos?

I know waiting is tough, so I work as quickly as I can to get your finalized gallery to you. That happens between 6 and 8 weeks from your wedding day. But, a sneak peek will be sent within 48 hours of your wedding day so that you can announce your marriage with beautiful images.

Do you design a wedding album?

Yes! Once your online gallery is delivered I'll have you go through and "heart" your favorites. Albums are an al a carte item and range from $125-$250 and come in a beautiful leatherette cover with the option to upgrade to a genuine leather cover.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes I do. I offer payment plans for weddings & elopements only. These payments can be split up into 4 payments, which must be paid in full 1 month before your special day. I want your investment to be as stress free and manageable as possible!

Do you give raw unedited images?

No, I believe my art is not complete until all the images have been fully edited in my style.
